Slow Food Award Porto 2001
This was one of the most important events of Slow Food made outside of Italy. Around 400 journalists and opinion makers from over 20 countries were received in Porto – to make-up the jury of the contest – and the event included all of the logistic transport, accommodation, meals, visits and the Gala event. The Gala included the participation of four members of Government and the wife of the President of Portugal. The surprise highlight of the guest program was the exclusivity of a complete train with open bar and live traditional music, for the visit to the Douro Valley, during which the delegates were received in private by the owners of 11 historic wine estates. Events for Journalists during Euro 2004
19 Events for journalists accredited for the European Football Championship in Portugal, Euro 2004. VINITUR carried out, at the press center of Euro 2004 – Atlantic Pavilion of Lisbon – an event program for the promotion of Portugal next to the nearly 2000 journalists accredited for the event. This promotion consisted in daily food tasting shows of traditional gastronomic products combined with entertainment. June – July, 2004. Euro 2004 Committee – ICEP.

Wine Tour for group from Belgium
Wine Tour in Porto and the Douro Valley for connaisseurs from Belgium. Trip with a special reception at renowned wine estates, producers of Vinho Verde, Douro Wine and Port Wine, organized for 15 wine enthusiasts and conducted by a sommelier from Belgium. May, 2007.
I am sending this email especially to thank you for referring me to the Vinitur agency in Portugal for organizing our Douro wine tour with the Belgian group. Everybody was particularly pleased with the organisation of this tour I have already organised several wine trips in the past for my group (as you know), but this one was really a topper! Incentives for Polish Company
Two incentives for a company from Poland. IATM Study Tour Northern Portugal
VINITUR was selected by IATM – International Association of Tour Managers to design and execute the event that occurs every two years for its members from around the world. The program, with educational goals for the professional Tour Managers, included a selection of diverse cultural themes about Porto and the North of Portugal. November, 2007. IATM

High level incentive organized in Lisbon by VINITUR for Ford Brazil to reward its best partners. Gourmet Tour in Ribera del Duero, Rioja and Basque Country (Spain)
Costume program for a group of 10 wine and food enthusiasts from Brazil. This tour included a selection of some of the best wine estates in Spain, one with an evaluation of 100 points by R Parker, private receptions by the world famous Vega Sicilia and Martin Berasategui, luxury hotels, several excellent restaurants, some starred Michelin, and exclusive visits to discover the most authentic in each region. Event and Incentive LG Hausys Europe
Meeting between 115 international partners and executives of LG Hausys Europe in Porto and incentive program. The social program included an original transfer made by boat to one of the dinners, and a Gala Dinner at the sumptuous Árabe Hall, the most admirable events venue in Portugal. The participants took part in an original team building involving hands-on activities such as a Team Cocktail Party and a culinary experience with products used during the ocean exploration ages of the 16th century. The feedback that I collected about the event in Porto were all very positive (from the team and from our clients). Wine and food cultural study tour, Slow Food University of Gastronomic Sciences
Study trip through several regions in the North and Center of Portugal for a direct contact with the culture, biodiversity and production of traditional foods. Included lectures, tutored tastings by wine experts and other professionals, workshops at the Port Wine Institute, technical visits, contact with local communities, culinary activities with Chefs, and others. IATM Golden Convention, Lisbon
IATM’s annual convention and that also celebrated its 50th anniversary, with 105 participants in Lisbon, with a pre-tour of Portugal for the Tour Managers of various regions. The social program enabled tourism professionals to discover some of the most relevant aspects of the heritage, culture, gastronomy and attractions of Lisbon, Sintra and other Portuguese regions. Having organised two events … , I can wholeheartedly recommend Vinitur…. I rate most highly the attention to detail, the variety of stimulating itineraries and venues, high level of Tour Management and Support Personnel that our Association received on all accounts. Convention was highly enjoyable, wonderfully well organised (as was to be expected after our first venture your way a few years' ago in Oporto). You took us to some really special places - the Sintra palace which wasn’t supposed to be open but was for us a highlight - but so were all the meal locations, from 5 star hotels to castles via rustic country restaurants and custard tart cafes!
